Your greatest inspirations and influences?
Nature, cinema , especially Japanese film.
Legends of photography like Avedon, McCullin and Herb Ritts. Taking that into consideration I am trying to create my own original language and visual identity by studying history of art.
Tell us about your creative process?
In the past couple of years I'm challenging form and composition in my photos. I seek a way to represent the subject's shape as something alive and which has spirit.
How has the pandemic affected you?
Well to be honest, there are so many people who talk about the influence of the pandemic in their daily lives and how it changed the world. My life is far from average, so fortunately Covid-19 did not affect me or my life too much.
Icons in your opinion?
In 21st century, the word icon has almost vanished in my opinion. In fashion photography I admire Albert Watson as a living legend and Txema Yeste as a new one.
Do you think the art world needs to change?
Art?! Let me worm my way out of this one!
What does wellbeing mean to you?
Wellbeing is something I really don’t think about. In fact, maybe I don’t even believe in it. Life is a path and you may love some parts of it and not some others. Photography is my life I avoid overthinking about these meanings.
