ARTIST ROMINA RESSIA
A Well Loved Photographer Dedicating More Time To Painting
Romina Ressia (1981) is a multi-award-winning photographer and artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is recognized for pioneering the use of anachronisms and irony applied to images of classical Renaissance influence which are combined with contrasting contemporary objects we use everyday. Her passion for art started at young age but it was not until after graduating in Economics, that she decided to dedicate her life to art. Her visual identity quickly became recognized all over the world, and her influence of classical artists with the contradictory, modern pop culture references such as Coca Cola, have become her signature although recently we are very excited that she has been working on oil paintings. Have a look at her instagram to see her wonderful painting often depicting royals.
