MUSEO LAZARO GALDIANO
During a friend’s recent visit to Madrid, we decided to go check out Museo Lazaro Galdiano, a beautiful gem that is home to a stunning collection of key works of art, ceramics, jewelry, furniture, textiles, a selection of illuminated manuscripts and the most important collection of small portraits and miniatures in Europe. Here you can view El Greco, Goya, Zurbarán, Bosch (which I could stare at for hours), and a temporary haunting presentation throughout the museum by artist Lucia Vallejo.
A note on Bosch, the painting depicts hell as seen in a dream by the knight Tondal and reveals various horribly cruel punishments for sinful behavior, such as a glutton being force-fed an endless supply of liquor by a demon and lots of other unimaginable torture tactics.
If you are fascinated with the work of Bosch, as I am, have a look at these two articles:

Here’s my digital interpretation, inspired by the brilliant instagram handle @classicalfuck. See if you spot the differences.
and of course on a more serious note, the highlights of the collection:
