DANY EID PHOTOGRAPHY

Dany Eid is a photographer specialized in architecture, landscape, travel and lifestyle photography.  Born and raised in Lebanon, Dany studied interior design and painting. He became passionate about photography in 2003 when he was living in Egypt but it was not until 2013 once he moved to Dubai that he decided to pursue his dream in focusing on photography as a career. He is  self-thought, but followed, read & watched all the tutorials that he was able to come across. Now he enjoys sharing his knowledge with others & encourages others to invest in their hobbies & nourish their dreams. "I don’t really teach photography during my workshops, but I share what I’ve learned & my experience to those who have talent. A photographer is not anyone who holds a camera & snaps a picture. A photographer is someone whose eyes see a composition & accordingly he or she decides to shoot it."

Dany organizes his own photography workshops & lectures including travel ones, and is also part of Nikon school program ME & official ambassador for Carl Zeiss.

Your greatest inspirations or influences?

Ansel Adams is my biggest inspiration when it comes to landscape photography, however a good image can always influence & inspire me.

The most interesting place/location or country you have shot so far?

I can’t decide, it’s quite difficult.

Each city or country I have been to offers something special or unique. No matter how much I prepare myself for a trip, I always come across special locations.  Yet if I must choose, I would choose Iceland, a beautiful destination that is always offering something new. I recently visited Namibia, which is the total contrary, the  contrast in colors you find there & the different elements nature offers can’t be found elsewhere. As mentioned each place is special.

What would be a dream project for you?

Combining my passion as a photographer with charity work. Offering photography to less privileged children.

Most interesting response you've heard so far to one of your photos?

I appreciate all feedback on my images.
