Interview with model Yasmine Sima

Yasmine Sima is a doll like model with gorgeous eyes, originally from Iran who was born and is currently living in Los Angeles.  People began to notice her unique beauty from a very young age and by the time she was 13 was scouted by a model agent in a shopping mall..  she was interested but was living in Iran at the time so it was impossible for her to pursue.  She had to wait a few years and at 16 upon her return to California she finally began modelling. Last year she signed with ford models, and is now an amazing style influencer with her flawless instagram posts.

Yasmine what are your greatest inspirations or influences?

Its so inspiring to see people at the top of their career who are keeping it real.  I've met a lot of successful models and designers, but only a few still have their feet on the ground and are down to earth. One's ego can be dangerous and it's very easy to lose control once you're super successful, so it's always inspiring to see those who have managed to keep it real.

How do you describe the current fashion trends or what is going on in fashion?

Honestly, you can make ANYTHING a trend as long as you wear it with confidence and believe in it yourself.

Favorite designers?

Such a difficult question because it changes every season. At the moment, I am absolutely obsessed with Alessandro Michele and Hedi Slimane.

How do you describe your personal style?

Very fluid. It all depends on my mood. Sometimes I'm all about vintage and the 60s, sometimes I feel like dressing super minimal. Sometimes girly, sometimes men's clothes.

Yasmine I love your instagram posts, Can you share some tips on social media?

What you put out on social media represents who you are. Having a public account on instagram can be tricky once your followings start to go up because what you post on there will trigger the perception people will have of you whether you like it or not. But then again, people will say whatever they want to say and that is hard to control, so just do what you got to do.

You travel often to Dubai, what do you like about it?

I have family and close friends in Dubai, so it feels like home when I visit and I really like how it's always growing as a city.
