Here are some of my favorite picks from my recent visit to Madrid.

• The Terrace of Mercado San Anton in Chueca- where I enjoyed some tapas and vino with my friend Cristina

• La Mucca which is a restaurant-boutique where you can buy most of the furniture pieces inside, there is a killer gourmet pizza menu which includes- Galician Octopus pizza, Kill Bill ( with Tuna, Ginger and Wasabi), Pear and Iberian Ham Pizza, and the Excalibur Pizza with Eggplant, Pumpkin and Pepper

• Chef/Owner Jaime Renedo´s ( born in Burgos 1982) super cool restaurant Asiana Next Door, ( fusion Peruvian-Asian) and excellent Pisco cocktails
