Interview with Jacob Dekat aka The Love Child Himself
Jacob is a young successful model/dj/muse and now turned awesome photographer. He is self taught and loves to experiment with different media in order to achieve new results. He always loved taking pictures but realized it was his passion when he picked up a couple of plastic toy cameras a couple of years ago and started doing it for fun. He never put the camera down since.
Greatest inspirations or influences?
I'm inspired by anything beautiful. I love pretty things. sex, drugs, and rock n roll. I love the whole retro feel of the 60's, 70's etc. I pull a lot of my inspiration from photographers like Ellen Von Unwerth. She is amazing I strive to be something like her someday. Dream project for you would be?
I would love to shoot someone like Brigitte Bardot, or Sophia Loren
Most memorable shoots so far?
All my shoots are equally memorable. I love all of them so much. I'm so passionate when it comes to my photos. It helps that most of my models are my friends, so it makes it easier to have a connection with them when we do shoot. I love just having fun and being spontaneous.
