Cihangir, is my favorite neighborhood in Istanbul which is home to an eclectic mix of writers, artists and intellectuals and reminds me of Montmartre in Paris. It is a maze of brightly-colored stuccoed facades which play host to a ‘happening’ cafe culture,  funky art galleries and chic vintage style boutiques.
